MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS
Will there be a name change of the MLS’s?
Not at this time. Right now, Oregon Data Share is only a shared database, not a merger of any corporate entities.
Will we still have access to RPR (Realtors Property Resource)?
Yes.
Will we still be using Zip Forms?
Yes.
During the 3 days the system will be down, will the IDX links on the personal pages be effected?
Your IDX links won’t be updated during this time. Your listing will not be changed when switching to Flexmls; so your page won’t be missing information. We are going to be working hard with all of your IDX vendors to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.
Regarding the IDX feeds, different areas have different rules, how will this be addressed?
We are working on a single set of shared database rules; including the IDX rules. When this is decided on, we will have one set of IDX rules to follow.
Will MLS Areas still exist?
No, the MLS Areas are going away. FlexMLS is a map centric system and you will be able to set up and save your search areas on the map.
How will no “Areas” affect the statistics?
Due to the “Areas” going away, the statistic reports formatting and information will change, but we haven’t decided what changes to make. Stay tuned to your Flexmls email updates for more info on this.
Will Flexmls function the same on my mobile device as it does on my desktop?
Yes. Flexmls will work the same on your mobile phone, tablet, laptop and desktop.
Will the Client Profile transfer over?
Your contact will transfer over from Rapattoni to Flexmls, but saved searches and portals will not be transferred. We will transfer the information from your saved search into the notes field for each contact and you will need to rebuild the search based on what is in the notes field.
Will the listing history stay the same once converted to Flexmls?
Yes.
